Living with Heaven’s Insight
“He made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he purposed in Christ as a plan for the right time—to bring everything together in Christ, both things in heaven and things on earth in him.” – Ephesians 1:9-10
One of the greatest gifts God has given His people is understanding. Before Christ came, the full picture of God’s plan was hidden. People knew pieces of His purpose, but they could not see how it would all come together. Through Jesus, that mystery was revealed. God showed us His will, His heart, and His ultimate plan for the world.
When Paul wrote these words, he wanted believers to realize what they had been given. We are not left guessing about God’s purpose. We have “insider information” about eternity because Jesus made it known. We know who wins, we know how the story ends, and we know that everything will one day be united under Christ. That truth allows us to live with peace, no matter what we face today.
God’s will is not random or unclear. It is centered on His Son. From beginning to end, the purpose of all creation is to bring glory to Jesus and to reconcile all things through Him. As His followers, we are invited to live with that eternal perspective. When we remember how the story ends, we can walk through the middle of it with confidence.
This world is full of uncertainty, but believers do not have to live confused or afraid. The same God who revealed His will through Christ continues to guide us through His Spirit. Every decision we make, every challenge we face, and every season we endure can be viewed through the lens of eternity.
You do not have to wonder if your life has purpose. God has already revealed it. You are part of His plan to bring glory to Jesus and to point others to Him. Knowing that changes everything. It turns worry into trust, fear into peace, and aimlessness into direction.
Live today with assurance that God’s will is good, His plan is unfolding, and His promises are certain. The mystery has been made known, and His name is Jesus.
