The Reward of Faith

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” – Mark 11:24

When you HAVE FAITH and you LIVE that FAITH, God will respond! Do not underestimate the power of your faith. Hebrews 11:6 tells us, “Now without faith, it is impossible to please God.” Do you know what that tells us? That our lack of faith displeases God, which also indicates that when we DO have faith, it pleases God!

What the story of Mark 2 shows us is that God not only likes it when we have faith, but He responds to it and rewards it! He responded to the faith of the four friends in Mark 2 and rewarded that faith by saving and healing their friend. Think about that. Without them serving their friend by demonstrating their faith (having and living it), this miracle doesn’t happen.

As I’ve thought about this, it has made me wonder how many miracles I have missed out on because of my lack of faith. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to miss out on God’s miracles, blessings, or favor. But the truth is if I have a lack of faith, the Bible tells me God is displeased. And if God is displeased, then why would I expect Him to respond or reward any of my requests?

As you reflect today, say to the Lord, “God, allow me to have a faith that catches your eye! Allow me to have a faith that is worthy of a response from You.” When you have and live a faith that pleases God, the rewards are immeasurable.

Mark 11:24 tells us, Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

When you trust the Lord, He will bless you. He responds and rewards those who have and live in faith. Believe you have received it, and it will be yours!
