The Presence of God

“And He said, ‘My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’” – Exodus 33:14

As you give your life to God and are adopted into His family, you now gain the NATURE, SPIRIT, PRESENCE, and POWER of God. These are powerful resources that can not only help you but truly change your life as you pursue God’s good and perfect will for you.

Over the last two days, we have looked at what it means to have the nature of God and the Spirit of God in you. But it doesn’t stop there; you also have the presence of God WITH YOU. When you give your life to Christ, He is available to you 24/7/365.

Many people make the mistake that, because there are so many people in the world, God doesn’t have the time for you. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. God is omnipresent, which means that He is present everywhere at the same time. He can be both fully present with you and fully present with someone else in the same time frame.

God’s presence will never leave you. Exodus 33:14 says, “And He said, ‘My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’” There is no greater peace than knowing God is with you wherever you go.

Are you in a tough time of your life? Maybe you lost your job. Your marriage is hanging on by a thread. Or someone you love is now gone. Whatever it is, God is with you. Whatever struggle you are going through, God is with you. Whatever challenges you face ahead, God is with you.

For the rest of your life, you will never have to face anything alone. The presence of God is with you. He is working in your situation, and even in the storms, He will give you rest.
