If you want to know how faithful God is, look BACK. Look back to the times in Scripture when He promised something. What did He do? He always delivered. He delivered on behalf of Abraham and Sarah. He delivered on behalf of Moses, Joseph, and the disciples. And He delivered every other time He made a promise.
That is who He is. Jesus always delivers. Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
How can we know that God will deliver? Well, first you can look back to Scripture. But you can also look AROUND. Look at all He has done in your life already. Think about the trouble you have been in before. Think about the things you have worried about. Think about the times you didn’t think you were going to make it through.
And yet, here you are. Now, it is easy to see how you came through that time, but at one point it wasn’t. When you look at the situations and circumstances you have faced and are facing, look around. Jesus is in the midst of everything that happens in your life.
We talked a few days ago about how, as a believer, you have the presence of God with you at all times. God is omnipresent, meaning He is everywhere at once. He is fully engaged and present with you 24/7/365. There is never a moment He leaves you.
But He isn’t just with you. He is working in your life. If you haven’t taken the time to notice, stop and look AROUND you. God is working in your life. The blessings you have, the way things just “work out,” isn’t a coincidence. It is the presence and power of God.
Look around. He is working in your life. He fulfills His every promise. He did before, and He does now.
