Looking FORWARD

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1

To know that God fulfills every promise He makes, you can look BACK to Scripture. He validates Himself on countless occasions by fulfilling every promise He has ever given. But He didn’t just do it “back in the day.”

He does it now. Look AROUND you, God is working in your life even now. And because we can see how God has worked BACK before and AROUND now, we can also look FORWARD and know He will work in our future.

Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

Did you catch that? Faith is the ASSURANCE of things hoped for. Faith isn’t something we see, but that we know is going to happen. We can have faith in God because He has proved Himself time and time again. He has never and will never fail us.

That is why we can look forward and have hope that He will do all that He has promised. That is His character, and that is who He is.

Are you waiting on God to do something in your life? Are you worried He won’t fulfill His promise? What are you worried about? What evidence has He given that He WON’T do what He says He will?

The only evidence we have in Scripture is that He is faithful to do what He says. The only evidence we have in our own lives is that He will do what He says. So why are you worried? What evidence do you have for that?

Look forward with hope. Because the same God that has delivered time and time again will do so in the future. And He will do it FOR YOU!
