You Only Get One Shot!

“Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” – Proverbs 27:1

What are you waiting for? What is it going to take to get you off the bench and onto the field? For many of you reading this, you know exactly what God wants you to do. We know that there are times in our life when we are seeking clarity about God’s will.

But not right now. Not for you. See, you already know what God wants you to do. He has revealed Himself to you and made it very clear. Maybe it has been clear for quite some time… Weeks? Months? YEARS?

What’s it going to take for you to get off the bench and into the game? How many more times are you going to say, “I’ll start Monday” or “I’ll start tomorrow.” Be careful because these are dangerous concepts. Proverbs 27:1 says, “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.”

My friend, YOU ONLY GET ONE SHOT! That’s it. You get one shot at life. How much more time are you going to let fly by before you decide to be obedient to God? How much time are you going to spend thinking about it? Wishing for it? Hoping that one day it’ll happen?

That’s enough. This is your sign. God is talking to YOU, and He is talking to YOU, TODAY! Don’t waste another second. Don’t put it off another day. You aren’t guaranteed tomorrow.

God is calling you. He has a specific plan and purpose for your life. As we said yesterday, you are 1 of 1. God created you and made you the only version of you. The plan He has for you, He doesn’t have for anyone else.

He has a purpose only you can fulfill. So stop waiting! There is no more time. God is telling you NOW is the time. You only get one shot, so don’t waste it!
