A Creative God

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” – Ephesians 3:20-21

How’s your relationship with God? Do you yearn to spend time with Him? Do you even know how to spend time with Him? It can be frustrating that God doesn’t just verbally speak His mind like we do. Talking and communicating with God is a little different than communicating with others.

God has given us prayer and Scripture as resources we can use to talk to Him. And make no mistake about it, God can do some pretty amazing things through our prayer life and through reading His Word.

But those are not the only ways God will communicate with us. We serve a creative God, a God who has limitless resources at His disposal and can use anything and everything He wants to get our attention. And that goes beyond just prayer and Scripture!

Ephesians 3:20-21 reminds us of the power of God when it says, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.”

The God you serve can do more than you could ever imagine. And that is not restricted to just how He can bless you, but even how He can communicate with you. God’s methods are not outdated. Have you ever been scrolling and seen a Tweet, a TikTok video, or an Instagram quote that was biblically based or a direct verse from Scripture?

You pause and think, “Wow, this speaks to my exact situation right now. How did it know to show me that?” It wasn’t the platform. It was GOD. It wasn’t a coincidence you scrolled and saw exactly what you needed.

You serve a creative God, and He has no limits to how far He will go to reach you. God speaks to us through prayer. He speaks to us through Scripture. But He also speaks to us in ways that are present in our daily lives. Be open to wherever God speaks to you. And remember, God is limitless in His ability to show you exactly what you need just when you need it.
