“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.’” – Mark 16:15
If you want to live the life God designed for you, a life that is filled with peace and fulfillment, then you should make it your priority to pursue God’s purpose for your life. A life of fulfillment happens when you set out to live the purpose you were created for!
When you live your purpose, you will be misunderstood. You will be judged. If you have followed along with us the last two days, you know that now. And while we should not obsess over that judgment, we can clarify who we are and what our purpose is.
As you live your purpose for Christ, you will likely gain a platform. Others will take notice of what you are doing. Because as we know, living for God is different from living for ourselves.
In a world where you are encouraged to “follow your heart,” “do you,” and “do what feels good.” God has called you to something else. Not to live for your selfish desires, but to live for Him. And when you do that, you will be different. And different gets noticed. Yes, it will start out with judgment. Many will misunderstand you. But as you authentically follow your purpose, a platform will follow.
Now, the scale of that platform can vary. For some, it might be on a small scale in front of just a few people. For others, it might be thousands, or hundreds of thousands, watching you. The scale isn’t the important part. God has not called you to amass the largest following you possibly can.
But He has called you to proclaim your purpose to the platform you do have. Whatever you do, whatever God has called you to do, you should do so for His glory. And when you do, the platform you have gained will be pointed to Him.
That is the purpose-driven life that we should all aspire to live! Use your platform to proclaim your purpose and point to the One who gave you that purpose!
