God Will Equip What He Calls You To

"But I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you." - Genesis 6:18

When God gives you a calling, He also gives you the tools to walk it out. That is the story of Noah. He was not a shipbuilder. He was not a seasoned leader. He did not have a background in zoology or disaster response. He was a regular man with a holy assignment.

God told Noah that judgment was coming. He told him to build an ark. And Noah obeyed. But here is what you cannot miss. God never gave Noah a vision without also giving him instructions. He told him how long to build it. What kind of wood to use. How to seal it. How to fill it. God walked him through it all.

And as Noah trusted and obeyed, the resources kept showing up. The wood. The pitch. The animals. The food. The help. God did not just tell him what to do. He equipped him with what he needed to do it.

That same pattern holds true in your life. God may call you to something that seems massive. He may ask you to step out into uncharted waters. To take a risk. To carry a burden. To lead or serve or give in a way that stretches you. And you may think you are not ready. But if the call is from God, the provision will be from God, too.

That does not always mean it will be easy. Or fast. Or comfortable. Noah still had to do the work. He still had to build the ark one piece at a time. But in the process, God was shaping him just as much as He was shaping the ark.

So if you are standing on the edge of a calling right now and wondering how it is all going to come together, take a deep breath and remember this. If God is the one calling you, He will not leave you empty-handed. He will equip you with what you need to accomplish what He has asked you to do. Trust Him, build anyway, and watch Him provide.
