God Can Multiply What You Surrender

"Then he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. And they all ate and were satisfied." - Luke 9:16-17

One of the most incredible miracles in the Gospels began with a little boy’s lunch. That is all it was. Five loaves and two fish. Not enough to feed a small family, much less thousands of people. But it was all he had, and he gave it to Jesus.

That is the key. He gave what he had.

Jesus took what seemed small and insignificant, blessed it, and multiplied it in a way no one could have imagined. Thousands of people ate until they were full, and there were twelve baskets of leftovers when it was all said and done.

Now here is the part you cannot miss. Jesus did not need the boy’s lunch. He could have rained down food from heaven like God did in the Old Testament. But He chose to use what the boy had to offer. Not because it was enough, but because it was available.

That is a powerful truth for your life. God is not asking you to have it all figured out. He is not asking you to be impressive or perfect or prepared for everything. He is asking you to surrender what you do have and trust Him with the rest.

Your time. Your energy. Your skills. Your money. Your relationships. When you place them in God’s hands, He can do far more with them than you ever could on your own.

The miracle is not in how much you have. The miracle is in what God can do with what you are willing to give.

The question is not whether you have enough. The question is, are you willing to surrender what you do have and let God use it? Because He can still take a little and make it more than enough.
