“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” – John 4:24
When you are adopted into God’s family, you gain access to the NATURE, SPIRIT, PRESENCE, and POWER of God. Yesterday, we looked at what it means to have the nature of God and how we can imitate the nature and features Jesus displayed during His time on earth.
But it’s not just His nature that you can imitate. You have access to the Spirit of God. When you give your life to Christ, God sends the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you as you navigate this world from a spiritual viewpoint.
Have you ever felt that “voice inside of you” that confirms you are doing the right thing or convicts you that you are making the wrong choice? That “voice” is the Holy Spirit living inside of you. When you give your life to Jesus, you gain the Spirit of God, which helps guides your life.
As you pursue God’s plans and purposes, the Holy Spirit helps keep you on track and reminds you of what you should do in order to follow the will of God. John 4:24 tells us, “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Do you want to know what the right decision is? Seek the Spirit. Do you want to know what God’s good and perfect will for your life is? Seek the Spirit. So many people don’t realize the power they have through the Holy Spirit and the direct access to God that gives them through His Spirit.
When you learn what the Spirit of God can do in your life, it will change your spiritual journey. Start to tap into the Spirit God has placed inside of you and watch how your life changes!
