FAITH IN THE WAITING

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.” – Psalm 37:7
Waiting on God can be a challenging and sometimes discouraging experience. We eagerly anticipate the fulfillment of His promises, wondering when and how they will come to pass. In the midst of our waiting, the story of David serves as an inspiring example of how to build our faith and trust in God’s perfect timing.
David, the anointed future king of Israel, faced a long and difficult period of waiting before ascending to the throne. Despite the delays, David chose to trust in God’s faithfulness and purpose. He remained steadfast, seeking the Lord’s guidance and finding solace in His presence.
