Repent and Run to Jesus
“Remember, then, what you have received and heard; keep it, and repent.” - Revelation 3:3
When Jesus tells you to repent, it's more than a command—it's an invitation. He’s saying, “Even if you are spiritually dead, there is hope. You can turn it around.”
Think about it: Jesus is extending a lifeline to you. If you feel spiritually dead, if your family feels spiritually dead, if you’re part of a church that seems spiritually dead, you can repent. No matter how far you’ve drifted, no matter how cold your heart has become, Jesus offers a way back.
Repentance is a powerful thing. It means turning away from sin and turning towards Jesus. It’s acknowledging where you’ve gone wrong and asking for God’s help to change. It’s an opportunity for God to breathe new life into you.
You might feel trapped in sin, thinking it’s too late for you to change. But Jesus says differently. He says, “If you have a pulse, there’s hope!” It’s never too late to turn back to Him. The act of repentance can restore what’s been lost, heal what’s been broken, and revitalize what’s been dying.
Imagine the relief and freedom that comes with repentance. When you confess your sins to Jesus and ask for His forgiveness, He wipes your slate clean. He removes the burden of guilt and shame, replacing it with His love and grace.
Jesus is inviting you to experience this transformation. He’s offering you a fresh start, a renewed spirit, and a closer relationship with Him. It’s an opportunity too precious to pass up.
Reflect on your life. Are there areas where you’ve become indifferent to sin? Have you been ignoring the Holy Spirit’s conviction? Now is the time to respond to Jesus’ invitation. Repent and run to Him. Confess your sins and ask for His help to change.
The promise of repentance is life through Jesus. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about being willing to turn back to God. Let Jesus restore your soul, ignite your passion, and lead you into a dynamic faith. Run to Him with a heart of repentance and experience the new life He promises.
