Why Say No to Jesus?

"Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters." – Matthew 12:30

There will come a day when people willingly take the mark of the beast. Some will be convinced—believing that one leader, one government, and one system is the best path forward. Some will be careless—not thinking twice about what it means, just wanting to keep their lives comfortable. And some will be cowards—unwilling to stand against the pressure, choosing to follow the crowd instead of standing for truth.

But that day isn’t here yet. Right now, you still have a choice. And the truth is, people are missing Jesus today for the exact same reasons.

Some are convinced that life is better without Him. They think following Jesus means giving up too much, that His way is restrictive instead of freeing. They believe success, happiness, and fulfillment can be found apart from Him.

Others are careless, living day by day without direction, just going through the motions, never stopping to consider what happens when this life is over.

Then there are the cowards, afraid to follow Jesus because of what it might cost. Afraid of what people will think, afraid of standing out, afraid that a life of faith won’t be as rewarding or as fun as the life they’re holding onto.

The enemy will always give you reasons to say no to Jesus. He’ll tell you there’s time to figure it out later. He’ll convince you that following Christ means missing out. He’ll plant fear and doubt, making you question if it’s really worth it. But saying no to Jesus isn’t just a neutral decision; it’s saying yes to an eternity without Him. Saying no is saying yes to pain, to darkness, and to separation from the One who created you and loves you more than you could ever imagine.

You don’t have to make that choice. You don’t have to keep pushing Him away. You can say yes to Jesus today. Saying yes means real hope, real peace, and real security, not just for today but forever. When you say yes to Jesus, your eternity is secure. If your body dies, your soul will be with Him. And if you’re here when He returns, He promises to take you home.
