Truth Under Attack
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness." - Isaiah 5:20
We live in a world where truth is being silenced in the name of tolerance. Society has decided that truth is offensive, outdated, and too rigid to fit within the ever-changing moral code of the culture. If you stand for biblical truth, you will be labeled as ignorant, arrogant, or intolerant. If you refuse to compromise, you will be called a bigot or an extremist. But here is the reality. Truth is not the problem. The real problem is the war being waged against it.
The push for tolerance is not universal. It is not applied to things like music, mathematics, or science. If a musician decides to play a song at twice the tempo, no one calls for tolerance. The conductor stops everything and corrects the mistake. If someone gets a math problem wrong, no one argues that they should be allowed to embrace their own version of the answer. Accuracy matters. Precision matters. But when it comes to morality, righteousness, and holiness, suddenly tolerance is expected.
The world does not want to tolerate truth. It wants to erase it. It wants to redefine sin and silence those who stand for what is right. That is why Christians are constantly pressured to compromise. But here is the question. Will you stand firm, or will you bow to the pressure?
Isaiah 5:20 warns against those who twist the truth, calling evil good and good evil. That is exactly what is happening today. Sin is being celebrated, and righteousness is being condemned. But the truth does not change. It is not shaped by opinions, culture, or political correctness. It is defined by God, and it stands forever.
Do not be afraid to stand for the truth. The world may push back, but God has already spoken. His Word is clear, and it is unshakable. The greatest enemy of truth is not intolerance. It is compromise. The moment you start redefining what God has already defined, you have stepped into deception. Do not let the world intimidate you into silence. Stand firm. Truth is still truth, no matter how loud the lies become.
