Love That Never Fails

"But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

We live in a world that teaches that love has conditions. It tells you that love is something you have to earn, something that is based on what you can offer. If you look a certain way, you will be loved. If you are successful enough, people will stay. If you meet certain expectations, you will be accepted. But if any of those things change, the love might disappear.

That is why so many people live in fear of losing love. They worry about getting older, about losing their beauty, about failing to live up to someone’s standards. They wonder if their spouse will still love them if they stop looking the way they once did. They fear that friends or family will turn away if they can no longer provide what they once could. The love they have always known feels fragile, as if it could break the moment they no longer measure up.
But that is not love. That is a transaction. Real love does not have conditions.

God has already shown you what true love looks like. Romans 5:8 says that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. He did not wait for you to clean yourself up. He did not love you because you were worthy of it. He loved you because that is who He is. His love is not based on what you bring to the table. It is not tied to your appearance, your achievements, or your ability to earn it. It is freely given, no matter what.

That is the love God calls you to live in and to show to others. The world’s love is fragile, but God’s love never fails. If you have spent your life trying to prove yourself worthy of love, stop striving. You are already fully loved by the One who never walks away. You do not have to earn it. You just have to receive it.

God's love is REAL love. There's no love other than God's love. PERIOD!
