Hope is Alive
"He is not here, for he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay." - Matthew 28:6
Easter changes everything.
On Friday, the world saw defeat. Jesus was beaten, mocked, and crucified. His body was laid in a tomb, sealed behind a massive stone. His followers were filled with grief, confusion, and fear. But what looked like the end was only the beginning.
Because on Sunday morning, the stone was rolled away. The grave was empty. Death had lost its grip. Jesus was alive.
Matthew 28:6 captures the moment, "He is not here, for he has risen, just as he said." The One who was crucified now walked in victory. The One who was buried now breathed again. The power of sin and death had been broken forever.
And because Jesus lives, hope is alive.
His resurrection is not just a story from history. It is the foundation of everything we believe. It means sin does not have the final say. It means darkness cannot overcome the light. It means whatever you are facing today—whatever fear, failure, or struggle you carry—does not have to define you. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive and working in you.
Easter is a reminder that no situation is too far gone. No sin is too great. No past is too broken. When Jesus walked out of that grave, He proved once and for all that nothing is impossible with God.
Today is a day to rejoice. To worship. To live in the freedom that Jesus purchased with His blood. The tomb is empty. Hope is alive. And because He lives, your future is secure.
Celebrate today, because the victory has already been won!
