The World We Were Made For
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." - Revelation 21:4
Can you picture a world where all the pain and brokenness we see today is gone? A world without crime or violence, without fear or loss. It is hard to imagine because everything around us now seems to carry some mark of struggle or suffering.
But the Bible gives us a clear picture of what is coming when Jesus returns in victory. It will not just be a moment of triumph. It will be the complete removal of everything that has ever hurt or damaged this world.
Imagine no more storms tearing apart cities. No more diseases stealing away health. No more hospitals or emergency rooms. No more funerals or gravesides. Every life will be perfectly and permanently whole.
Picture a world where peace is not just a hope, but a reality. The lion and the lamb will lie together in peace. The wolf and the calf will rest side by side. Children will play in safety without fear of harm. Every part of creation will be brought into perfect harmony.
And most powerful of all, imagine a world without the devil. The source of evil, temptation, and destruction will be gone. There will be no one whispering lies, no one stirring up hatred or fear, no one leading hearts away from God.
This is not some human-made dream or utopia. This is the promise of Jesus Christ, who will return to rule and reign and restore all things. It is the world we were made for, the world our hearts long for, and the world we will one day step into if we belong to Him.
Today, I want your heart to be filled with hope. No matter how heavy the world feels right now, this is not the end of the story. Jesus has already won the victory, and one day soon, we will live in a world that reflects the fullness of that victory. Hold on to that promise and let it shape how you live and trust Him today.
