When God Opens the Door

"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us." - Ephesians 3:20

Sometimes God gives you a vision that seems completely out of reach. Maybe it even sounds crazy to the people around you. Maybe it sounds a little crazy to you. But when God puts it on your heart, the next move is not to analyze the odds. It is to step out in faith and start walking toward it.

That is exactly what happened when our church began praying about expanding next door. It felt impossible. It had already been tried before with no success. But this time, instead of giving up, I laced up my boots, walked the land, and prayed. I talked to the Lord. And then I asked others to pray too. And when God saw a people who were willing to move by faith, He moved in power.

Out of nowhere, a phone call came. The door opened. The land was offered. Even when we could not afford it, God continued to provide. And just before a major payment was due, someone stepped up with an incredible gift. Why? Because when God gives a vision, He also brings the provision.

But here is the key. God’s provision often follows our obedience. The vision does not become a reality by watching or waiting. It comes when all of us step up and do our part. Maybe for you, that is giving. Maybe it is serving. Maybe it is praying faithfully for what feels impossible. Whatever it is, know this: God still works through His people.

So, what is the vision God has put in front of you? What step do you need to take? You might not see the full picture, but if you walk by faith, God will open doors no one else can. And when He does, you will know beyond a doubt that it was all Him.
