Sharing God's Wisdom

"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, 'Your God reigns!'" - Isaiah 52:7

As we conclude this month's focus on wisdom, stewardship, and purpose, we're reminded that the ultimate purpose of gaining wisdom is to share the good news of God's reign and salvation with others. The beauty Isaiah describes is not physical attractiveness but the beauty of lives dedicated to bringing hope, truth, and transformation to a world in need.

The image of feet on mountains suggests the effort required to share good news. Mountains must be climbed, distances must be traveled, and obstacles must be overcome. Sharing wisdom requires intentional effort, persistence, and often sacrifice. But those who make this effort are called beautiful by God.

As we worship God for His wisdom and for the privilege of sharing it with others, we also acknowledge our dependence on His Spirit to make our efforts effective. We cannot change hearts or minds through our own persuasion or cleverness. Only God can open eyes to see truth and hearts to receive it.

The back-to-school season provides natural opportunities to apply these principles. Whether we're students, parents, teachers, or simply members of communities where learning takes place, we have chances to demonstrate and share the wisdom that comes from knowing God.

As we move forward, let us commit ourselves to being faithful stewards of the wisdom God has entrusted to us, using it not just for our own benefit but for the blessing of others and the advancement of His kingdom. Let us be people whose lives are so marked by wisdom and hope that others ask us to give a reason for what they see.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to share Your wisdom with humility and love. Fill my heart with compassion and guide me to point others toward You in all I do. Amen.
