If He Only Knew

"But the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." – Revelation 20:10

There is coming a day when the enemy of your soul will finally be defeated. Not symbolically. Not temporarily. Fully and forever.

The Bible tells us how this all ends. After Satan is released for one final attempt to deceive, God’s judgment comes down like fire from heaven. In an instant, the devil’s army will be consumed. Not a battle. Not a fight. Just fire. The breath of God will be more than enough.

And then comes the moment we have all waited for. The devil himself will be thrown into the lake of fire. That place of torment was never created for you. It was created for the devil and his demons. And one day, it will become his final and eternal home.

This is not a story of maybe. This is not a hopeful wish. This is a guaranteed ending. The verdict was declared at the cross when Jesus crushed the power of sin and death. But the sentence has not yet been carried out. Revelation tells us that the day is coming. And when it does, the enemy will never deceive again.

Maybe right now, the world feels dark. Maybe the enemy has been loud in your life. Maybe you are walking through a season where the villain feels like he is winning. But you already know how the story ends.

You can live today with confidence. You can read through the hard chapters of your story knowing what happens in the final pages. And when fear tries to take over or evil seems too strong, you can say what that little boy said as he smiled while reading his book.
If the devil only knew what I knew.

You serve the Victor. You belong to the King. And the day is coming when Jesus will silence every voice that ever tried to destroy what He loves. That includes you. Keep reading. Keep trusting. The end has already been written.
