CATCH FOR CHRIST

“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.” – Ephesians 2:8
Salvation is a gift that began with grace. The GRACE of God is the fact that Jesus comes to us. We love Him because He first loved us! GRACE is God reaching out to us… FAITH is us reaching out to God… and where GRACE and FAITH meet, there is SALVATION!
Ephesians 2:8 says, “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.” Not only is it a gift from Him, but it was initiated by Him. John 15:16 says, “You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to come and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.”
Being a disciple would be impossible if Jesus didn’t come to us. As we have discussed the last two days, Matthew 4:18-22 tells us of when Jesus walked on the Sea of Galilee as He searched for His disciples.
What you will notice when you read that passage is that Jesus went to where they were so that ultimately they could be where He was. You’ve got to go where the fish are in order to catch fish.
Do you know why we stream our service online today? Do you know why we spend resources to be on radio and TV? Do you know why we are doing ministry in places like Egypt, Seattle, Sri Lanka, and Kenya? Do you know why we have teams in the heart of this city every single week serving our community?
Because Jesus told us to! He told us to fish for people all around the world! And we know it is impossible to CATCH fish unless you GO to the places where fish are. Where can you go to catch fish for Christ?
