BLESSED BY GOD

November 14, 2022

“After the death of Moses the Lord’s servant, the Lord spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant. He said, ‘Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them. I promise you what I promised Moses: Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you.’” – Joshua 1:1-3

When you accept the fact that, as a child of God, you are CHOSEN by Him, and you are EQUIPPED by Him, then something beautiful happens: you will be BLESSED by Him. Joshua lived a life that we still talk about today because God chose him, God equipped him, and as a result of his faithful obedience, God BLESSED him!

Joshua 1:1-3 says, “After the death of Moses the Lord’s servant, the Lord spoke to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ assistant. He said, ‘Moses my servant is dead. Therefore, the time has come for you to lead these people, the Israelites, across the Jordan River into the land I am giving them. I promise you what I promised Moses: Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you.’”

God can do amazing things when we have faith and are obedient to Him. When you trust God that you were chosen to do something that only you can do, when you trust that He will equip you with everything you need along the way, and you honor Him by being obedient, God will bless you.

The purpose God has designed for you, though it can look many different ways, is to serve one purpose: to draw others to Him. God will use you to bring glory to His name and His kingdom. And when you do that, God will bless you. He will bless you both on earth through your daily life. And He will bless those around you as your legacy will live on!

You are CHOSEN. You are EQUIPPED. And you are BLESSED! Live today, knowing where you stand with God!
