EXPERIENCING GOD’S GRACE

January 29, 2023

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon you.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9

Life isn’t easy. Even when we give our lives to Christ, He never promises it will be all sunshine and rainbows. In fact, He assures us that we will face hard and difficult times. But when we do, He will be there for us. He will provide us with everything we need. Nothing surprises Him.

And when we go through these difficult times, it allows God to show us His amazing grace. See, when we are weak, He is strong. And He demonstrates this by doing what we can’t do.

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon you.”

I know life hits hard. But God will give you everything you need. His grace is sufficient. Sometimes, God will allow us to experience difficult times so that we can also experience His incredible grace.

This grace is what gives us the strength to go beyond what others would. It is what gives us the heart to forgive the unforgivable. It is what gives us the courage to do the unimaginable. It is what gives us the HOPE that everything will turn out just right.

For those who have never given their life to Christ, they can’t experience God’s grace. So when the situation looks bad…it is bad. There is no light at the end of the tunnel because they don’t know the light.

But as a believer, you have access to the light. And you also have access to His GRACE. It is God’s grace that will get you through.

Are you experiencing God’s grace in the midst of hard times? If not, ask Him to reveal His grace in your life. He will do it. He might just be waiting for you to ask.
