WALKING BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7

In our journey of faith, the apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:7 that our perspective and approach to life should be fundamentally different from the world’s. Instead of relying solely on what we see with our physical eyes, we are called to walk by faith.

Walking by faith means trusting in the unseen, the promises of God, and the guidance of His Spirit. It requires a shift in our focus from the temporal to the eternal, from the visible to the invisible. It is a declaration of our confidence in God’s faithfulness and the assurance that He is working behind the scenes, even when circumstances seem unclear or challenging.

When we walk by faith, we refuse to be swayed by the ups and downs of life. Our trust is not in the shifting sands of this world but in the unchanging character of our Heavenly Father. We believe in His love, His wisdom, and His sovereignty over all things. We choose to see beyond the present circumstances and place our hope in the promises of God.

Walking by faith requires surrendering our need for control and embracing God’s guidance. It means acknowledging that we do not have all the answers and that our understanding is limited. Instead, we rely on the One who sees the bigger picture, the One who knows the way that leads to life and peace.

In walking by faith, we find strength and courage in the midst of challenges. We are empowered to face obstacles and uncertainties, knowing that God is with us every step of the way. It is through faith that we experience the supernatural and witness the fulfillment of God’s purposes in our lives.

Today, let us choose to walk by faith, not by sight. Let us fix our gaze on the eternal truths of God’s Word and trust in His unwavering faithfulness. As we surrender our desires and plans to Him, He will lead us on a path of righteousness, peace, and joy. He will enable us to navigate the twists and turns of life, guided by His love and empowered by His Spirit.

Embrace the call to walk by faith, knowing that in doing so, we enter into a deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father and experience the abundant life He has prepared for us.
