Through God’s Eyes

"Where there is no vision the people perish" - Proverbs 29:18

Have you ever looked at your life and thought everything felt a little blurry? Like you were trying to move forward, but could not quite see where you were going? That is how life can feel when you are not seeing through God’s eyes.

There is a kind of spiritual 3D that you and I can miss without realizing it. In our natural state, we can only see so much. We chase dreams that are comfortable and familiar. We make decisions based on what feels safe or smart. But without God’s vision, we are guessing. We are moving through life with fogged-up lenses.

God is not trying to hide His plan from you. He wants you to see clearly. He has a purpose for your life that goes beyond anything you could dream up on your own. The Bible says His ways are higher than ours, and His thoughts are too. That means the story God wants to write through your life is not just bigger than your imagination, it is better.

But here is the hard truth. Many people ask God for vision, but they stop short of walking in obedience. They want to know what He wants them to do, but when He shows them, they hesitate. What if it costs too much? What if it is uncomfortable? What if it takes too long?

You have to decide if you trust God enough to act on what He shows you. Because vision without obedience is just a blurry picture. But vision with obedience, that is when clarity comes. That is when your life starts to line up with what you were made for.

So let me ask you today. Are you looking at your life through your own eyes or through His? When God reveals the next step, will you take it? Will you trust that He sees what you cannot?

If you are feeling stuck, unsure, or like you cannot see clearly right now, maybe it is time to pray for new lenses. Not a new job or a new plan or a new outcome. Just new lenses. God’s lenses. Because when you look through His eyes, you will finally see what He has been trying to show you all along.
