YOU’RE BLESSED

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is in the Lord.” – Jeremiah 17:7
If you are a believer and you are “in Christ,” then Paul says… you’re BLESSED… you’re CALLED… you’re SAVED… and you are RECONCILED. Over the next four days, we are going to talk about these four things and the responsibility they bear on our lives.
Being saved is the greatest gift you will ever receive. The fact that God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for us so that we could have a personal relationship with Him and share in His eternal kingdom in heaven, is the greatest gift and blessing we could ever receive.
As Christians, we are BLESSED. Jeremiah 17:7 says, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is in the Lord.”
As a child of God, you are not only favored, but you are also blessed. He has blessed you in more ways than you can count. Now, you might be thinking, “Pastor… you don’t know what is going on in my life, I am not that blessed.”
And you are right. I do not know what is going on in your life. I don’t know the difficulties you are facing or the hard times that are upon you. But I do know that you are more blessed than you realize. First, you have a personal relationship with God. You have access to the Father in ways many do not.
You also are forgiven. You are not living a life based on perfection (a life no one can possibly live). Instead, God has already forgiven you. Not only for what you have done but for every sin you will commit. You are forgiven, and that is a blessing!
You are also loved. There is nothing you can do to escape the love of God. He loves you as His own child. And He always will.
You might be focused on your external circumstances. And from that lens, you might feel you aren’t blessed. But there are many blessings you have that others just don’t have access to. As a child of God, you are BLESSED.
