FEAR IS REAL, BUT GOD IS WITH US ALWAYS

July 16, 2023

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10

Fear. It’s a powerful emotion that can grip our hearts and paralyze us in its grasp. In a world filled with uncertainties and challenges, fear seems all too real. We may fear the future, fear failure, fear rejection, or even fear the unknown. But as believers, we have an unshakable truth to hold onto: God is with us at all times.

I want to remind you that fear is a natural part of being human. It’s okay to acknowledge its presence and the effect it can have on our lives. However, we must not allow fear to control us or dictate our actions. Our heavenly Father assures us through His Word that we have no reason to fear, for He is always with us.

Isaiah 41:10 provides a comforting promise straight from God’s heart: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” These words resonate with a divine assurance that transcends any circumstance we may face. We serve a God who is intimately acquainted with our fears and stands ready to strengthen, help, and uphold us with His righteous right hand.

When fear grips us, it’s essential to remember that God’s presence is constant and unchanging. He is not a distant observer but an ever-present help in our times of trouble. We are never alone, no matter how daunting the situation may appear. God’s love and power overshadow our fears, providing us with the courage and strength we need to press forward.

In moments of fear, let us turn our focus from the storm to the One who walks upon the waters. Instead of dwelling on our anxieties, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. By anchoring ourselves in His truth, we find solace and peace that surpasses all understanding.

Today, as you face your fears, take a moment to breathe in God’s presence. Embrace the truth that He is walking beside you, holding your hand, and guiding your steps. Trust in His faithfulness and rest in His unfailing love.
