YOU ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” – Psalm 139:13-16

Have you ever stopped to consider the miraculous truth that your existence is not a mere accident? The pages of your life are not random but are carefully scripted by the hand of a loving Creator. In Psalm 139, the psalmist beautifully captures the essence of this divine craftsmanship, declaring, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

It’s an awe-inspiring realization that God, the Creator of the universe, took deliberate care in forming you. Your life is not the result of cosmic chance, but rather a purposeful design fashioned by the very hands that set the stars in the sky. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, a masterpiece in the grand tapestry of creation.

In the quiet moments of reflection, consider the intentionality of God’s act in creating you. Each detail, every facet of your being, was fashioned with a specific purpose in mind. Your talents, quirks, and unique qualities are not random occurrences but deliberate choices made by a God who saw fit to create you for a purpose.

Embrace the truth that your life has profound significance. God has ordained a path for you, and every day was written in His book before you even took your first breath. Your journey is not haphazard; it is a part of a divine plan unfolding in God’s perfect timing.

As you navigate the challenges and joys of life, remember this: You are not an accident. You are a purposeful creation, and God has a unique plan for your life. In the tapestry of existence, you are a thread carefully woven by the hands of a loving and intentional Creator.

You should find comfort and inspiration in the knowledge that your life is filled with purpose, and that God, who established the earth, created you on purpose and for a purpose.
