OUR PERSONAL GOD
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
Did you know that our God is a personal God? You know, He isn’t just up there in the sky, distant and detached, but He is the God who says, “I am your God.” It’s personal. It’s intimate. It’s a relationship that goes beyond the heavens and touches the core of who you are.
In Isaiah 41:10, God speaks directly to your heart, saying, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” Take a moment to let that sink in, the Creator of the cosmos is declaring, “I am yours.”
Our God isn’t some cosmic force or a celestial bystander. He’s personal. He’s yours. Imagine having the God of the universe on speed dial, ready to listen, comfort, and guide. That’s the God we have, not a distant deity, but a close and personal companion on this journey called life.
In the moments when fear creeps in and uncertainty clouds your path, remember that you have a personal God who is not just with you but for you. “I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand,” says the Lord.
God’s got your back with a grip that won’t let go. It’s not a weak handshake; it’s a firm, secure hold that says, “I’ve got you, and I’m not letting you go.” In the highs and lows, the joys and sorrows, God is right there, intimately involved in the details of your life.
So, when you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders, lean into the truth that you have a personal God who loves you, walks with you, and is committed to seeing you through. You are not alone, my friend; you are deeply known and cherished by the God who declares, “I am your God.”
Today, I want to challenge you to embrace the reality of a personal God and walk in confidence, knowing that the Creator of the universe is intimately involved in your story.
