Serving The Marginalized
“Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” — James 1:27 (CSB)
God has a special heart for those who are vulnerable, marginalized, or forgotten by society. As His stewards, we're called to care for orphans, widows, immigrants, and others who need support and advocacy. This service reflects God's character and demonstrates His love to those who might otherwise feel abandoned. Serving the marginalized doesn't require special training or great resources; it requires a willingness to see needs and respond with compassion. When we care for those society overlooks, we participate in God's work of justice and mercy.
